Born Sept. 9, 1934, in Rockport, Ill., daughter of the late Loren and Eva Bunn Scranton, she had worked for General Electric Credit and was a secretary for Joel Montgomery from 1980 until retiring in 2004.
On Dec. 21, 1953, she married Wilbur D. Forgey; he survives of the home in Sikeston.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Debby Forgey of Moberly; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Greg Noe of Chesterfield, and Teresa and Rod Anderson of Sikeston; one sister, Aldean Morrow of Summer Hill, Ill.; one brother-in-law, Herbert Brokaw of St. Peters; six grandchildren, Lisa White, Jennifer Bowers and her husband, Chris, Alyssa Noe, Madeline Noe, Tyler Anderson and Jalin Anderson; and five great-
grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Shelby Wilson, Destiny Gordy, Aaron Bowers and Nicholas Bowers.
One sister, Aletha Brokaw, preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Carl Addison, pastor of Tanner Street Church of God, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
