VANDUSER -- Estele Buehler, 89, died Jan. 20, 2006, at Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.
Born Feb. 26, 1917, in Glen Allen, son of the late Steven and Mollie Schrock Buehler, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was employed by R.B. Potashnick during the construction of Interstate 55 and was later employed by various other construction firms in Michigan.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mae Wallace and Virginia Walker.
Survivors include: three sons, Steve Buehler, Wilber Buehler and James Buehler of Michigan; one brother, Bill Wallace of Ferguson; and three sisters, Marie Hume of Vacaville, Calif., Mildred Hazel of Advance and Betty Kielhofner of Shorewood, Ill.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with Geneva Keith, associate pastor of the Vanduser Church of God, officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow.
