MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- Lemuel Kyle Yarber Sr., 47, died Jan. 25, 2007, at his home.
Born July 19, 1959, at Sikeston, Mo., son of the late Sam Harp and Arabelle Davis, he graduated from Rogers Senior High and was employed with Sound Technologies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Taylor Yarber.
Survivors include: one son, Lemuel Yarber Jr. of Michigan City; a special daughter, Jamie Diviney of Michigan City; one stepson, Daniel Tompkins of Michigan City; one stepdaughter, April Perry of Michigan City; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Robert Moses and Jean Yarber and Dewitt and Clementine Yarber of Michigan City, Chester E. and Carolyn Yarber of Sikeston and Kelvin Yarber of Pendleton; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Shirley Yarber of the state of Ohio, Terry and Leroy Hemphill of Gary, Connie and Edward Green of Kansas City and Brenda Jo Yarber and Karen Hicks of Sikeston; six grandchildren; two special friends, Billease and Brenda of Michigan City; and devoted friends, Charlie Seay, Sam Kilgore and Shane Rife and family, all of Michigan City.
Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Coleman and Hicks Funeral Home, 101 Karwick Road. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Darryl Yarber officiating.
Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
