Chris Boon

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - James Christopher Boon, 47, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died April 10, 2006, in the Henry Ford Hospital at Detroit.

Born May 9, 1958, at Sikeston, Mo., son of Dr. Robert H. Boon of Dexter and Nadine Boon-Leonard of St. Charles, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter and a network systems administrator for Bernal Inc. in Rochester Hills.

On Dec. 16, 2005, he married Emily Scott who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Ashton Lauren Boon of Fenton, Mo.; his stepmother, Brenda Boon of Dexter; his stepfather, Fraser Leonard of St. Charles, Mo.; and one brother, Dr. Robert E. Boon of Columbia, Mo.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Louis Lowe will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
