DEXTER -- Millie Jarrell, 85, died Sept. 10, 2006, at Beverly Health and Rehab Center in Dexter.
Born June 12, 1921, in Zalma, daughter of the late William and Myrtle Pittman James, she had lived in Zalma and Puxico before moving to Dexter in 1968. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dexter.
On Aug. 19, 1938, she married John W. Jarrell who preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1977.
One daughter, Marilyn M. Jarrell; two brothers, Hubert James and Billie James; and one sister, Della Bess, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, James W. Jarrell of Dexter; two sisters, Beulah Kesterson of Tulsa, Okla., and Modine Kitchen of Denver, Colo.; two grandchildren, Melvin Jarrell of Bloomfield and Jimmy Jarrell of Puxico; and six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Revs. Louie Lowe and Roy Sherfield of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
