DEXTER - Al Denny, 72, died Aug. 19, 2006, at his home in Dexter.

Born Nov. 15, 1933, at Fort Smith, Ark., son of the late John Thomas and Nola Elizabeth Barclay Denny, he had lived 25 years in West Plains and spent 12 years in Mount View, Ark., before moving to Dexter four months ago. He was a retired foreman at the Cloud 9 Ranch near Caulfield and a member of the Pentecost Church.

On July 30, 1953, in Wardell, he married Lillie Dell Rinehart who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Diane Denny of West Columbia, S.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and James Bell and Anna and Mark Michel of West Plains; two sisters, Eunice Fields of Festus and Reba Sims of Ash Flat, Ark.; and eight grandchildren and seven great-


He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Denny and D.C. Denny.

Funeral services were conducted today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Darrell Gosser of Calico Rock, Ark., officiated.

Burial followed in the North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
