DEXTER -- Dal Daniel, 92, died Aug. 16, 2006, at the New Madrid Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 29, 1913, to the late Perry Delmar and Bessie Lee Hendricks Daniel, he had lived in Dexter since 1925, where he was a member of the First Christian Church in Dexter. He was a retired heating, air and sheet metal worker and a veteran of U.S. Army Engineers having served during World War II.
On May 12, 1939, in Charleston, he married Willena Sielert, who preceded him in death on Dec. 19, 2003.
Also preceding him in death were one son, L.J. Daniel; three brothers, Burie Daniel, Earl Daniel and Bradley Daniel; and three sisters, Delmar Melton, Rubye Daniel and Lucille Biggerstaff.
Survivors include: one son, Don V. Daniel of Essex; one brother, Perry T. Daniel of Conway, Ark.; two sisters, Inez Holder and Pat Watkins of Dexter; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-
Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Vaughn Wright of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
