CLINTON, Ky. - Thomas Rathburn "T.R." Larkins, 82, died at 5:57 p.m. Aug. 7, 2006, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home.
Born July 13, 1924, in Dorena, Mo., to the late Robert R. and Annie Bennett Larkins, he was a retired farmer, a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II and a member of Columbus Baptist Church.
In 1948, in Clinton, he married Dorothy Thatcher who survives.
Other survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Kathy Larkins, Mike and Libby Larkins and Steve and Cynthia Larkins, all of Clinton; two brothers, Bruce Larkins of Grand Rivers and Marshall Larkins of Clinton; three sisters, Greachann Bozeman of Walls, Miss. and Laverne Walton and Georgia Ferrell, both of Sikeston, Mo.; and 9 grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren.
One daughter, Susan Courtney Lewis; one brother, one sister and one great-
grandson preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton. The Revs. Roger Wood and Max Cooper will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery.
