FARMINGTON - Nora Bernice McCann Price, 97, died at 8:50 p.m. April 19, 2006, at the Camelot Nursing Facility in Farmington.

Born March 16, 1909, in Potters Landing, Tenn., to the late David Daniel and Amanda Turnbow McCann, she moved to Farmington in 1991 from New Port Richey, Fla., where she had lived for over 30 years and had played in the Amateur Pro Golf Organization. She was of the Methodist belief.

In 1931, she married Leland Price who preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 2003.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include: five nephews, Elvis McCann of Roseville, Calif., Charles McCann of Edwardsville, Ill., Thomas McCann of Tracey, Calif., Donial McCann and Darryl McCann of Charleston; and six nieces, Evelyn Whitworth of Granite City, Ill., Bernice Coffer of O'Fallon, Nelda Bess of Poplar Bluff, Pat Crawford of Charleston, Maxine Winder of Farmington and Diane Cranick of St. Louis; and a number of great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Friday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Roger Jespersen, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Charleston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Donial McCann, Darryl McCann, Rodney Crawford, Richard Crawford, Kevin Hunter and Brian Bess.
