SIKESTON -- Margaret Ann Lathom Bizzell, 73, died at 5:43 p.m. July 17, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Oct. 10, 1933, in Sikeston, to the late O.E. and Mary Lee Kincy Lathom, she was a member of the First Christian Church in Sikeston.
On Sept. 6, 1953, in Sikeston, she married Walter E. Bizzell, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen (Crader) Bizzell of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Michael C. DeWitt of Sikeston; two sisters, Martha Bacher Clay of Cape Girardeau and Laura Jo Haubold of Portageville; four grandchildren, Blake DeWitt, Jenni DeWitt, John Robert Bizzell and De Bizzell, all of Sikeston, and several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, John Robert "Bud" Lathom and Bill "Curly" Lathom; and two sisters, Mary Alice Lathom and Virginia "Ginger" Beck preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church in Sikeston. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 7 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Mary McCord, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.
