I'm calling about the mosquito truck. I think if you will notice that when that mosquito truck goes by it blows right in the middle of the street and it curls up and goes right up in the middle of the atmosphere. The mosquitoes are not in the middle of the street, they are in shrubs and stuff where they reside. If they would have that blowing out the sides, it would kill a lot more mosquitoes. I'm surprised they haven't caught on to that, but they haven't changed it in years. Is it possible they don't want to kill the mosquitoes?

Well it's hammer down, westbound on Interstate 70. My speedometer is hitting about 85 and I'm barely keeping up with the traffic. Also, I'm glad I've got my seat belt on to keep my head from hitting the ceiling. Interstate 70 has need to be rebuilt for 30 to 40 years, about ten years after it was built. I just read Mike's editorial commenting on Interstate 70 and how much it was going to cost. Interstate 70 is extremely important to our state commerce, but gosh, I remember about six or eight years ago reading an editorial that Mike had when the MoDOT first started talking about rebuilding Interstate 70. He couldn't understand it. Ole Mike had been to Columbia to visit his daughter at college. Interstate 70 was just fine. My thoughts were, "Mike, which Interstate 70 were you on and what had you been smoking?" The Interstate 70 I know has been slap worn out for 20 to 30 years. Well anyway Mike, flip-flop. You lost the pancake.

If you can remember an obscure column from years ago, you have far too much time on your hands.

This is in response to "Grave Situation". I don't know who owns the cemetery there, but I would guess all the family members of the loved ones buried there, are the real true owners. You've each, or your family has, bought and paid for each plot out there. If it needs to be cleaned up as badly as you say, then be a good citizen, and owner, and clean it up! Stop waiting on "volunteers" to do the job. Do it yourself! It might actually get done then, and a lot faster.

I don't know who was to blame for leaking Valerie Plame's cover as a CIA agent, but it seems dastardly and treasonous to me for a newspaper and a reporter to print it. I think the paper and the reporter should be arrested. Why is there not an uproar about their involvement? What is their motive for doing such a thing?
