Eight arrested by Sikeston DPS in round-up

SIKESTON -- Officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety arrested eight Sikeston residents Wednesday as part of a warrant round-up.

The round-up took place between 8-11 a.m. with warrants ranging from Sikeston city arrest warrants to Scott County arrest warrants.

The eight arrested were identified as Ronald Baker, 38; Randy Cody, 23; Anthony Colbert, 20; Larry Ford, 25; Tina Hall, 20; Ojajuwon Lane, 20; Shawn Ruffin, 32; and Corlin Turner, 45.

Information on the charges of the individuals arrested was not made available by Sikeston DPS.

Three additional warrants were recalled by city court officials due to immediate resolutions being made by those being sought.

Twenty-two people are still being sought for their warrants. They are: Terri Jo Avery, contempt of court ($250); Helen Baker, contempt of court ($1,000); Gerard Barker, contempt of court ($250); Michael D. Bell, contempt of court ($250); Robert J. Childers, probation violation ($1,500); Melissa Croney, contempt of court ($1,000); Lee James Daniels, contempt of court ($500); James Lamont Durden, second degree assault ($25,000); Robert Eugene Gary, non-support ($14,089); Colin Graham, contempt of court ($500); Tashi Hale, contempt of court ($1,000); Robin Hanstein, prostitution ($500); Marcus Harris, contempt of court ($750); John Hightower, probation violation ($500); Willie E. Jones, contempt of court ($500); Benjamin L. Mack, failure to appear ($5,000); Mark Marks, contempt of court ($3,000); Mary Jane McCain, forgery ($75,000); Mary L. Morris, contempt of court ($250); Willie C. Shannon, contempt of court ($500); Cheryl Ann Sims, contempt of court ($500) and Latricia Williams, contempt of court ($500).
