ORAN - Loretta C. Brucker, 90, died at 1 a.m. Sept. 2, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 18, 1916, in Bell City, to Albert and Dora Dirnberger Vetter, she retired from Buckstein Pants Factory in Chaffee where she worked as a machine operator. She was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church and St. Ann Sodality in Oran.
On Jan. 9, 1946, she married Herbert M. Brucker, who preceded her in death on July 24, 1995.
One daughter and one sister also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Joyce Pobst of Oran and Donna Schmitt of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Herman Vetter of Painter; and four grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today, with parish prayers at 7 p.m., at the Amick-
Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with the Rev. John Harth as Celebrant.
Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.
