Lucy Harrison

BLOOMFIELD -- Lucy Irene Harrison, 95, died June 20, 2006, in the Crowley Ridge Care Center at Dexter.

Born Feb. 20, 1911, near Dexter, daughter of the late Thomas Loyd and Carrie Bell Tracer Allstun, she was a member of the Essex Church of God, a homemaker and resident of rural Bloomfield.

On Dec. 20, 1930, at Toledo, Ohio, she married John Ralph Harrison, who died Aug. 19, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by: two brothers, Charley Allstun and Arthur Allstun; and four sisters, Bessie Shipman, Edith Gist, Pansy Vaughn and Lillie Fortner.

Survivors include: two brothers, Lorn Allstun and Walter Allstun, both of Dexter; and two sisters, Ruth Larsen of Bloomfield and Alice Abbott of Dexter.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. Herman Morse will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
