She was born Sept. 14, 1935, at Landis, Ark., to the late Coy and Delphia (Massey) Richardson. Flo was a graduate of Central High School at Caraway, Ark. and went on and received a BSE degree from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. She taught for 31 1/2 years with 29 of them for New Madrid County R1 School District at Matthews, retiring in 1991.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Richardson and David Richardson; and her husbands, Leslie Dean Ragland and Willard E. Cude.
Survivors include: her husband, Lester Harness of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and David Richards of Sikeston and Charlotte and Thane White of Wichita; one son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Verna Cude of Sikeston; five grandchildren, Derek Richards, Danielle Whitley and Logan Cude of Sikeston and Anna White and Shelby White of Wichita; one great-grandson, Devin Whitley of Sikeston; two brothers, Ed Richardson of Truman, Ark. and Bob Richardson of Lavaca, Ark.; four sisters, Loretta Horton of Marshall, Ark., Racine Flores of Camden, Ark., Ida Bransceum of Blytheville, Ark. and Louise Yates of Hurst, Texas. Also surviving are 16 nieces and nephews and 22 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Friday and Saturday at Watson Funeral Home in Wichita. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Flo's brother, the Rev. Bob Richardson of Lavaca, officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Derek Richards, Logan Cude, David Richards, James Whitley, Thane White and Dave Bransceum.
Honorary pallbearers will be all her other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
