Priscilla Acord

DEXTER -- Priscilla Ann Shell Acord, 65, died Jan. 10, 2007, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Oct. 20, 1941, at New Madrid, daughter of the late L.S. Hartzog and Marjorie Schaffer Mims, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter and a homemaker.

In April 1994, she married David J. Acord who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, John D. Shell and Robert A. Shell of Dexter; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Shell of Dexter; one brother, Gary Schaffer of Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Mary Louis Piatkiewicz of Phoenix, Ariz; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is from noon Thursday until time for a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Don Kennedy will officiate.
