SIKESTON -- Lisa Haynes has announced the engagement of her daughter, Andrea Javonne Fitcher, to Michael Lee Meeks, son of Rick and Debbie Aters of Sikeston.

The future bride is a full-time nursing student at Southeast Missouri State University. Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School and works at Atlas Cold Storage.

Plans are under way for a March 24 wedding.
