DEXTER - Lillie Myrtle Gromer, 78, formerly of Essex, died March 8, 2007, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born April 30, 1928, in Hartman, Ark., to the late John H. and Francis Consoilar Barber Ritchie, she moved to Missouri in 1944. In 1969, she moved to Dexter where she was a homemaker and member of the First United Pentecostal Church.

On Feb. 23, 1946, she married Howard E. Gromer who preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1993.

Also preceding her in death were one son, Mackie "Randy" Gromer, on July 21, 2006; and four grandchildren.

Survivors include: one son, Bill H. Gromer of Van Buren; three daughters, Betty J. Lewis of Campbell, Cathy R. Nugent of Montgomery, La., and Lisa D. Delrie of Dry Prong, La.; two brothers, Ronnie Ritchie of Marshall and Larry Ritchie of the state of South Carolina; three sisters, Velma Fields, Mary Albers and Brenda Bunnell of Grayling, Mich.; and nine grandchildren and several great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Joseph Geuin of Dexter and Chris Dixon of Corning, Ark., will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
