SIKESTON -- Thomas Craig McCoy, 51, died at 1:41 p.m. Aug. 10, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Feb. 8, 1955, in Belleville, Ill., son of Hattie Emma Whiteside McCoy of Sikeston and the late Thomas Leon McCoy, he had been a gun dealer at Orscheln Farm and Home Store. He was a member of the Henry Meldrum Post of the American Legion and of the Baptist belief.
On Aug. 28, 1993, in Benton, he married Dorthea Sanders, who preceded him in death.
Survivors in addition to his mother include: three sisters, Terri Bechel and Angela Hileman, both of Sikeston and Jodie McCoy of Benton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 1 until time of services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Charles Hileman, Robert Bechel, Trey Wood and Matt Wood.
