DEXTER -- Ivaun D. Douglas, 91, died Nov. 24, 2006, at the Golden Living Center.
Born Oct. 29, 1915, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late John and Pearl Malone McCain, she had worked at Elders Manufacturing in Bloomfield for 26 years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dexter.
On April 30, 1931, at Advance, she married William Forrest Douglas who preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 1974.
Two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four daughters, Nadine Crowe and Loretta Douglas of Dexter, Virginia Parrish of Columbus, Miss., and Carolyn Dowdy of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Welton McCain of Kingsford, Tenn., and Cellis McCain of Bloomfield; one sister, Cletha Pipkins of Rockford, Ill.; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon today until time of services at 1:30 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Mike Kohlbaker of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
