SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Minnie Mae Collier, 77, died April 8, 2006, at Sunnyvale.
Born Dec. 27, 1928, in Hodge, La., to the late William Lee and Harriett Elizabeth Julian, she was raised in Gray Ridge, Mo., where she graduated from Gray Ridge High School. She worked at the school as secretary from January 1947 to July 1948, when she moved to California to work as a civilian employee for the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 44 years of service.
She was married to James C. Collier, who preceded her in death.
Also she was preceded in death by five brothers, Norval Lee, Chester Eugene, Kenneth Denton, Ivan William and Raymond Eugene Julian; and three sisters, Norma Dillon, Harriett Virginia Julian and Irene Luceille Julian.
Survivors include: one sister, Lona Cronk of Blytheville, Ark.; one sister-in-
law, Betty Julian of Kansas City, Mo.; and 14 nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Mo.
Burial will be in the Arlington Veterans Cemetery at Arlington, Va.
