MORLEY - An announcement has been made of the marriage of Mary Ann Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Anderson of Morley, to Bill Baker, son of Mrs. Sid Schillig. The ceremony was performed at Piggott, Ark., on Jan. 2.

SIKESTON - Tomorrow the Rex Theatre will present "Sergeant Murphy" with Ronald Reagan, Mary Maguffe and Donald Crisp.

PORTAGEVILLE - An art exhibit opened at the New Madrid County Library in Portageville Sunday displaying more than 100 pieces of art work by 25 artists from five states. More than 250 persons visited the exhibit during a three-

hour period Sunday afternoon. The exhibit will remain on display at the library throughout the week.

SIKESTON - The Sikeston wrestling team took home another second place in the Pacific quad held this past weekend. Second place is something not unusual for Marc Stevener's team this year.

BLOOMFIELD - The Stoddard County Sheriff's Department is presently investigating two counts of vandalism which occurred in Dexter. Also being investigated is the attempted bread-in of a church. Statements are being taken and investigations are on-going at this time.

EAST PRAIRIE - It was "a long night" as a young East Prairie team lost to Egyptian, 22-95. East Prairie Coach David Matthews said his squad is playing hard but lost to an older, more mature team. "We are going to get better," he added.
