ST. LOUIS - David W. McGhee, 61, formerly of Essex, died Nov. 7, 2006.
Born to the late Wesson and Jewel McGhee, he was a 1967 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and a U.S. Army veteran. He was president and founder of British-American Forfaiting Company. He also worked for Westinghouse Credit Corporation, DWM Investment Company, Monsanto Company, May Department Stores and Arthur Anderson and Co.
He is survived by two brothers, several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald C. McGhee.
A memorial service was held Thursday at St. Louis Cremation Chapel.
