SMYRNA, Tenn. -- James E. Tyrone, 94, died June 9, 2006.
Born Dec. 15, 1911, in Collierville, the son of the late John Luther and Mattie-
Bob Abernathy Tyrone, he was a retired security officer and a member of the Smyrna Church of the Nazarene in Smyrna.
He married Lera Mae West who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Ken Mitchell of Pittsfield, Ill., and Alma Frances and Harry DeVar of Smyrna; one son, Jerry Tyrone of Wartrace; and six grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.
There will be services at 2 p.m. today at the Smyrna Church of the Nazarene with Tony Clemons and Ken Mitchell, pastors, officiating.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville, Ark., with graveside services following at 1:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
