Selina Reed

NEW MADRID -- Selina Long Reed, 70, died April 20, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born April 12, 1936, in Hazelhurst, Miss., daughter of the late Bennie and Ola Mae Johnson Carley, she married Willie C. Long who preceded her in death in 1992.

Survivors include: one niece, Earlene Townsend of St. Louis.

Visitation is scheduled from noon Monday until time for services at 1 p.m. at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Marston with the Rev. Kirt Donnavant officiating.

Burial will follow in Simmons-Park Cemetery in Catron.

Richards Funeral Home of New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
