CHARLESTON -- Bernita Key Crawford, 88, died at 8:18 p.m., Feb. 1, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 16, 1918, in Steele, daughter of the late Arthur and Estie Mae Chunn Key, she lived most of her life in Charleston and was of the Baptist belief.
On April 9, 1938, she married Guy Thomas Crawford who preceded her in death on May 4, 1992.
Three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Tom A. Crawford and Richard L. Crawford Sr. of Charleston; three daughters, Blanche Presson of St. Louis and Diann Zoellner and Lou Goodall of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Glenn Key of Minneapolis; two sisters, Laverne Lucy of Winston, Calif., and LaRue Tinsley of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Miller of Ironton will officiate.
Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Richard Crawford Jr., Rodney Crawford, Grant Crawford, Chris Gullette, Greg Crawford and Adrian Eftink.
