GAMALIEL, Ark. - Dorothy Mae Everly, 82, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died Oct. 7, 2006, at the Care Manor Nursing Center in Mountain Home.
Born April 26, 1924, at Cleveland, Okla., daughter of the late Francis M. and Stella Oliphant Cross White, she moved to Gamaliel in 1975. She worked at the Baxter Manor Nursing Home as a dietitian and attend the Gamaliel Baptist Church.
ON Nov. 7, 1942, at East Prairie, she married Elsie Everly who preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 1975.
Survivors include: three daughter and sons-in-law, Janice and Charles Foreman of Gamaliel, Donna and Roger Ralph of Covington, Tenn., and Joann and Keith Oliver of Mayfield, Ky.; one foster son, Michael Hayden of Covington; one sister, Lucille Pritchett of East Prairie; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
