Born April 12, 1928, at Avert, son of the late Calvin and Clara Stephens Perry, he had lived in Sikeston since 1993. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War and had retired from McDonnell Douglas at St. Louis.
Survivors include: his wife, Helen Perry of the home; three sons, Ronald Perry of Waterford, Mich., John Perry of St. Charles and Pete Cantrell of Sikeston; four daughters, Shell Walters and Debbie Cantrell of Sikeston, Ellie Capps of Advance and Jannette Perry of Waterford, Mich.; and 14 grandchildren and 11 great-
grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, one brother, Charles Perry, and one sister, Mariam Whitley, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Patrick Hagen will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery.
