HOLLAND -- A Canadian man was killed after his vehicle hit a tree early Tuesday in Pemsicot County.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 4:05 a.m. on U.S. Highway 61, three miles south of Holland, as southbound motorist Gursharan Singh, 35, of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, ran his vehicle off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Singh was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:15 a.m. by Pemiscot County coroner Jim Brimhall and was transported to the Pemiscot County morgue.
