Warren Barker

ALVIN, Texas - Warren Thomas Barker, 81, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died Nov. 1, 2007, at Corneerstone Hospital-Clear Lake in Webster.

Born Jan. 15, 1926, at Hahn, Mo., son of the late Charles and Mary Barker, he was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Velma Barker of the home; two daughters, Sandra Barker of Houston and Ruthie James of Friendswood; one brother, Marion Barker of Warren, Mich.; one sister, Hazel Kibler of Berkley, Mich.; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Visitation is from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday with Dale Grissom officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
