SIKESTON -- Mr. and Mrs. Roger Sherman celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with their family this weekend at Table Rock Lake.

Sherman and the former Laura Ann Lewis were united in marriage July 12, 1958, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Madrid.

They have three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Bev Sherman of Springfield, Mike and Jackie Sherman of Jonesboro, Ark. and Brooks and Carol Sherman of Leawood, Kan.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Larry Smothers of Lake St. Louis, Janet and Kenneth Moorman of Troy, Barbara and Brian Satterthwaite of Wildwood and Laura and Boyd Green of Sikeston; and 21 grandchildren.
