PORTAGEVILLE -- Raymond L. Brandenburg, 68, of Portageville, died July 9, 2008, at his home.
Born Nov. 12, 1939, in Pemiscot County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary "Madge" Copeland Brandenbug.
He married Bonnie Sutton who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Danny and Judy Brandenburg and Michael Brandenburg of Big Sandy, Tenn.; five daughters, Angela Kay Tidwell of Big Sandy, Sheila Sutton Taylor and Tina Hall of Portageville, and Nancy Jones and Althea Sutton of Sikeston; six brothers, Louie Clinton Brandenburg of Point Pleasant, Thomas Eugene Brandenburg of Finley, Tenn., Cletus Charlie Brandenburg of Portageville, Colvin Earl Brandenburg of Cooter, Aubrey Alton Brandenburg of Marston and James Ricky Brandenburg of Blytheville, Ark.; three sisters, Glenda Faye Baker of Poplar Bluff, Reva Carol Mays of St. Louis and Joyce Jean Webbenmeyer of St. Charles; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter.
Visitation is scheduled for 5 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Temple of God's Glory Church with the Rev. Reggie Grant officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be:?Lewis Rone, Robert Mays, Chuck Brandenburg, Chris Sutton, Joey Brandenburg and Eddie Mays.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Buddy Forester, Benny Taylor and Bill Roberts.
