NEW MADRID - Phyllis Carter Boulton, 63, died July 19, 2008, at her daughter's home in New Madrid.

Born Dec. 1, 1944 in Gideon, she was the daughter of the late Robert Milton and Mamie Holt Carter.

Survivors include: two daughters, Melissa Recker and Angie Boulton of New Madrid; four brothers, Ray Carter of LaForge, Gary Carter of Lilbourn, and Robert Carter and Phillip Carter of New Madrid; one sister, Shirley Williams of New Madrid; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and one granddaughter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.

Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid is in charge of the arrangements.
