HAYTI -- Methamphetamine elements were found in a residence where officers executed a search warrant earlier this month, resulting in the arrest of two.

According to a news release from the Bootheel Drug Task Force, their agents, assisted by officers, executed a search warrant at a residence near Hayti July 13.

During the search warrant, elements of methamphetemine were found. Dennis Ray Shumate, 29, and Paul Michael Shumate, 23, both living at the residence, were taken into custody during the search warrant.

As of press time, the two are being held in the Pemiscot County Justice Center on $50,000 bonds for distribution, delivery and manufacture of methamphetamine.
