Johnny Berry

BERNIE -- Johnny Ray Berry, 44, died July 28, 2008, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Aug. 1, 1963, in Kennett, to Ruby Sutt O'Neal of Bernie and the late Johnny Daune

Berry, he had served in the National Guard, had worked at Wal-Mart, and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: one daughter, Brandi Dawn Berry James of Overland: one granddaughter, Destiny Breanna Berry of Overland: and other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
