SIKESTON -- Rose Mary Simpson, 60, died July 26, 2008, at her home.
Born June 20, 1948, in Diehlstadt, to the late Climmie and Cora Bryant Carter, she was a member of the Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston and had worked as a nurse's aide for Visiting Nurses Association.
Her husband, Odell Simpson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Willie Simpson of Milwaukee, Scottie Simpson of Sikeston and Paul Simpson of Cape Girardeau; six daughters and one son-in-law, Della Johnson and Eather Simpson of Gary, Ind., Lori and Clarence Kimble, Kimberly Simpson, Sierra Simpson and Senegal Simpson of Sikeston; three brothers, Annannais Carter and Climmie Carter of Gary and Chorice Carter of Sikeston; three sisters, Juanita Carter of Gary and Vessie Blevins and Martha Carter of Chicago Heights, Ill.; and 33 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at noon at Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston with Elder Steve Betts officiating.
Burial will follow in teh Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
