BLOOMFIELD -- Freeman Albert Walker, 77, died Aug. 3, 2008, at his home.
Born Feb. 6, 1931, at Risco, son of the late Orville and Carrie Carlton Walker, he had lived in Bloomfield since 1962, where he was a retired carpenter and a member of the First General Baptist Church.
On Aug. 13, 1952, he married Martha Baker who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Bruce Walker of Dexter; one daughter, Debbie Rampley of Bloomfield; two brothers, George Walker of Puxico and Orville Walker Jr. of Barnhart; one sister, Connie Marquis of Puxico; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Lester Walker.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Kevin Eskew will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
