FREDERICKTOWN -- The Rev. Marvin Foust, 73, formerly of Doniphan and St. Charles, died Aug. 2, 2008, at ClaRu Deville Nursing Home in Fredericktown.
Born March 23, 1935, in Tyler, Ark., he was a General Baptist minister and had formerly pastored churches in Missouri and Illinois. He was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown.
On May 8, 1954, he married Charlotte Killbreath who preceded him in death on Oct. 18, 1998. On May 25, 2002, he married Iannes Mayberry who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four sons, Kevin Foust of Scott City, Nathan Foust of Wappapello, Darrell Foust of Pocahontas, Ark., and Timothy Foust of Sikeston; three daughters, Carla Miget and Jeanette Schaeffer of St. Peters and Lisa Alexander of Hazelwood; three brothers, Lewis Foust and Doy Foust of Poplar Bluff and J.C. Foust of Neelyville; two sisters, Dulcie Gibbs and Vermell Sanders of Poplar Bluff; and 19 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of services at noon Wednesday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. The Rev. Junior Ingram will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Brown Chapel Cemetery.
