Smoky vanished

I was calling in to see if you can post about a cat we lost in the hospital parking lot. My young daughter, who in the middle of the night when we had to go to the hospital, took our solid gray cat. His name is Smoky. When we got to the hospital, she did not tell us she had the cat and it got out and got away in the parking lot. I can be reached at 703-1727 or 703-7314. It's a solid gray cat. He is an adult cat and he is neutered. We sure would appreciate it if you can help us.

Looking for pizza man

I was wondering if anyone out there has any stuff to do with a kitchen that has to do with the little pizza man. I would like to buy whatever you have for the kitchen. Leave your name and number in SpeakOut and I will call you.

National debt solution

I have a solution to the national debt problem we are all facing. Thanks to the business community, with its bottom line and anything goes philosophy. No. 1 - just cancel the national debt. Most of it is just interested owed to our richest citizens. Give their bond money back without interest. To citizens with assets above a certain amount, and that would be quite high, so those people would be fine just like they are. High end goods are doing great. They always did, even during the Depression. Wealthy people did fine - they didn't even know there was a Depression. No. 2 - tax the churches. Stop subsidizing religion. It's unconstitutional. It leaves too much power and money hidden from view - no one knows what's being done with it. Unless you are going to subsidize those without a religious affiliation too, if you happen to not have a church or without a religion, you ought to be tax free too. I want to be tax fee. No. 3 - nationalize the financial, banking, medical and oil industries. They are the largest source of theft, dishonesty, fraud and corruption in this country. No. 4 - strip corporations of the rights guaranteed to people in the Constitution. No longer consider corporations as a person - they are businesses. The CEOs of these corporations must be made to take responsibility personally and individually for crimes against fellow citizens, the state or the environment. Stop letting thugs hide behind corporate organizations. No. 5 - end all agricultural land and product subsidies. Talk about an entitlement program, nothing has created a class of people who feel they are entitled to be made into multi-millionaires merely for owning land, no matter what it produces. Owning land should never entitle you to an income. Quite frankly, the intellectual level of that bunch is not much to admire either or their sensitivity to the earth's situation and the creatures on it. I wouldn't give you two cents for the whole bunch. I think our national debt problems would be solved if the above were followed.

The real thing

I see that there is another committee that says they are Return To Sunset. If they want to do something pertaining to the Labor Day weekend, that's fine. But, I think you should change your name to the Newer Return To Sunset instead of taking the real Return To Sunset name and using it for your benefit. There is a first Return To Sunset and this is their eighth annual. Get your own name and don't use no one else's name.
