CHAFFEE -- Anita Bertha Gosnell, 93, died Aug. 12, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 18, 1915, in Kelso, to the late Anton and Mary Petz Hess, she was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church and Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3127 in Chaffee.
On Oct. 5, 1931, she married Odus Gosnell who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1983.
One son, three brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Anna Marie Clary of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Frances Hess of Scott City; and two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Frank Husted will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
