SIKESTON -- Syble Lee Ward Kelley, 88, formerly of Kennett, died Aug. 11, 2008, at her home in Sikeston.
Born June 17, 1920, in Faulkner County, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Mettie Bell Ward.
In 1983, she married Raymond Spence, who preceded her in death. On April 14, 1968, in Kennett, she married Paul Kelley, who also preceded her in death.
Others preceding her in death were: four brothers, three sisters, and one grandson, Jonathan Kyle Spence.
Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Richard Spence of Cary, Ill. and Donald and Barbara Spence of Senath; four daughters and one son-in-law, Joyce South of Warrensburg, Sandra Kay Spence and Brenda Spence of Sikeston and Sheila Spence and Tim Thompson of Byhalia, Miss.; one stepson, Bill Kelley of Chicago; and seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Dale Rickman will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Thompson, Stephen Reid, Mike Jackson, Ray Spence, Tommy Brock and Ron Brock.
Honorary pallbearers will be: BIll Kelley, Andrew Spence, Nathan Spence, Chen Ooi and Jack Jackson.
