Born Oct. 19, 1931, in Dexter, to the late Preston and Eunice Williams Shipman, she was a homemaker and a member of the Broadwater Church of the Brethren in Frisco.
In Wolf Creek, Ore., she married Virgil Ridenhour who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: five sons, Robert Brown of Mayfield, Ky., Ronald Brown of Edwardsville, Ill., Garry Brown, Larry Brown and Dennis Brown of Dexter; one daughter, Debra Kelley of Essex; one brother, Donald Shipman of Grants Pass, Ore.; one sister, Alice Martin of Bernie; and 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Harold Gass will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
