SIKESTON -- Pearlie Mae Beasley, 68, died at 1:20 p.m. Aug. 24, 2008, at her home.
Born Feb. 10, 1940, in Lilbourn, to the late Albert and Druller Wallace Patterson Sr., she was a 1958 graduate of Gray Ridge School and a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir.
On March 16, 1956, she married Edwin Beasley who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Edwin Clement "Bull" Beasley Jr. and Stanley and Monique Beasley of Kansas City, Mo.; five daughters, Deborah Beasley, Barbara Beasley, Diane Beasley and Linda Beasley of Sikeston and Patricia Beasley of Killeen, Texas; seven brothers, Albert Patterson Jr. of Sikeston, Raymond Patterson and Issaac Patterson of St. Louis, Ricky Patterson of Licking, Lee Tate and Sylvester Tate of Atlanta and Benny Patterson of Houston; 12 sisters, Geraldine Slaughter, Louise Shannon, Lois Davis, Barbara Jean Taylor and Vicky Patterson of St. Louis, Rochelle Lowery, Yamekia Feaster, Barbara Brown and Krinski Golden of Atlanta, Jessie Walker and Deborah Speed of Sikeston and Glodine Brown of Blytheville, Ark.; and 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston with Elroy Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
