SIKESTON -- Wanda Lena Moore, 76, died Aug. 31, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born July 7, 1932, at Naylor, to the late A.Y. and Viola Webber Hicks, she was a homemaker and of the Protestant belief.
She married Doise White who preceded her in death in 1955. On Feb. 12, 1956, in Sikeston, she married Jerry Moore who survives of the home.
Also surviving are: three sons, Edgar White of Crystal City, Lee Moore of Advance and Stanley Moore of Sikeston; one daughter, Teresa Gipson of Waverly, Ky.; three brothers, Warren Hicks of DeKalb, Ill., Eddie Hicks of Morehouse and Ralph Hicks of Morley; three sisters, Jewell Moore of Puxico, Geraldean Adcock of Iuka, Ill., and Earleen Kirkpatrick of Gilbertsville, Ky.; and 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Dale White, and four brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at the Ponder Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday. Ronnie Ledbetter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
