JACKSON -- Raymond A. Dannenmueller, 96, died at 2:40 a.m. Sept. 16, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 6, 1911, at Oran, to the late Louis and Louise Gosche Dannenmueller, he was a retired self-employed farmer. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson and the Knights of Columbus Council No. 4311 in Oran.
On Nov. 17, 1936, he married Lucille Schrum who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Larry Dannenmueller of Oran and Lenny Dannenmueller of Jackson; and nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert Dannenmueller, and six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation is scheduled at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with parish prayers at 6 p.m. and Knights of Columbus prayers at 6:30 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. The Revs. Normand Varone and John Harth will officiate.
Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: David Dannenmueller, Kevin Dannenmueller, Darrell Dannenmueller, Mike Dannenmueller, Brian Dannenmueller and Dustin Dannenmueller.
