CEDAR HILL -- Lela Mae Reeves, 99, formerly of Lilbourn, died Sept. 24, 208, at Cedar Ridge Manor in Cedar Hill.
Born March 9, 1909, in Mississippi, to the late Simon B. and Lela Pyron Blalock, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
She married William R. "Ted" Reeves who preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1968.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Survivors include: three sons and one daughter-in-law, Bobby R. Reeves of Gloucester, Va., William R. and Joann Reeves of High Ridge and Jerry Reeves of Rotunda West, Fla.; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Betty Reeves of Davenport, Fla.; one grandson, whom she raised, William Douglas Reeves of Millbrook, Ala.; one sister, Elizabeth Cecil of Steele; and nine grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held today at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
Richards Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
