SIKESTON -- Shirley Anne Amos, 73, died at 2:15 p.m. Sept. 26, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 22, 1934, in Dunklin County, to the late Charles Asa and Wilma Ruby Hilton Douglas, she was a homemaker and a member of Spirit Life Ministries Church in Sikeston.
She was first married in 1959, at Gray Ridge, to Dennis Crowley. On Dec. 14, 1981, at Tipton County, Tenn., she married Gene Amos who preceded her in death in 1993.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Gloria Crowley of Cape Girardeau and Barry and Angelica Crowley of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, Jerry Douglas of San Diego; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Spirit Life Mininstries Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Mike Tinnin, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
