DEXTER -- William David "Bud" Lynxwiler, 63, died Sept. 28, 2008, at his home.
Born May 12, 1945, in Doniphan, son of the late Sylvester and Jewell Vance Lynxwiler, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, VFW and the American Legion.
On April 19, 1969, in Pontiac, Mich., he married Joyce Lane who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Pamela Jean Lynxwiler of Dexter; one sister, Mary Dobbins of Killeen, Texas; and two grandchildren, Wesley Ashley and Melody Moxley.
Preceding him in death were one son in infancy, Coy Michael Lynxwiler; and two sisters, Janie Stubbe and Sylvia Lynxwiler.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. A graveside memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
