BLOOMFIELD -- Mildred "Mickey" Rice died Sept. 29, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield.
Daughter of the late John W. Clubb and Bertha V. Gregory Clubb, she was a former telephone operator in Bernie and a waitress for many years. She was a member of the Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Judy Foushee of Bloomfield; one granddaughter, Kathi Smith of Bloomfield; and five great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carroll A. Clubb, Elvis H. Clubb and Lester Clubb; and seven sisters, Minnie Pruitt, Zillia Beardsley, Dovie McFarland, Lola V. Johnson, Clella M. Schanks, Stella I. Law, and Esther Clubb; and one granddaughter.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Tom McCanless will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Clubb Cemetery in Zalma.
