One suspect is still sought; may have left state

BENTON - Additional charges were filed against the two men who allegedly broke in to Schindler's Tavern on Aug. 21.

In addition to burglary and felony property damage charges, Charles D. Dobyns and Kent J. Courtney, now have multiple charges related to the theft of personal property from motor vehicles in the area of Schindler's Tavern on the same morning of the burglary.

According to a news release from Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter, both men are charged with an additional seven counts of stealing. Bond is set by the court at $2,500 cash.

Dobyns, 18, of rural Benton was arrested Sept. 19 and remains in the Scott County Jail.

Courtney, 18, of Chaffee has not been arrested. It is suspected that Courtney fled Missouri to prevent being arrested. He has been entered in to the National Crime Information Center system as a wanted person.
